I made some variations: I layered potatoes, onion, salt, pepper, garlic, chopped up leftover roast three times in a large casserole dish. Then poured 4 Tb of melted butter and 3/4 cup of half n half, then mixed some cream of mushroom soup with a little milk and poured it on top. I covered it with foil and cooked at 350 for an hour. This was GREAT!!!!
