Crockpot Pork Barbecue Recipe

This crockpot pork barbecue recipe was shared on our forum.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chile powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 garlic powder
  • 1 boneless chuck roast(3-4 pounds)
  • 15 to 18 hamburger buns, split

Preparation:

In a slow cooker, combine the first 12 ingredients, mix well. Add the pork roast. Cover and cook on high for 6-7 hours, until tender. Remove the roast; cool. Shred meat or chop and return to sauce; heat through. Use a slotted spoon to serve on buns.
Serves 15 to 18. Serve with coleslaw and baked beans, plus other salads and sides of your choice. Enjoy
