Ingredients:
- 3 cups chopped celery
- 1 cup onion
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chile powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 garlic powder
- 1 boneless chuck roast(3-4 pounds)
- 15 to 18 hamburger buns, split
Preparation:
In a slow cooker, combine the first 12 ingredients, mix well. Add the pork roast. Cover and cook on high for 6-7 hours, until tender. Remove the roast; cool. Shred meat or chop and return to sauce; heat through. Use a slotted spoon to serve on buns.Serves 15 to 18. Serve with coleslaw and baked beans, plus other salads and sides of your choice. Enjoy
