Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1/8 cup wild rice, parboiled and rinsed well
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable stock
- 1 cap (from shaker) Mrs. Dash Gallant Garlic, Garlic and Herb mix
Preparation:
Mix all well, cook on LOW 2 1/2 hours (my crockette only has one setting). Do not stir at all while cooking, or you will get sticky mush. If left alone you will have the tastiest, fluffiest rice ever! This is my own recipe, and I have also added fresh veggies like carrots, and mushrooms and such with great results.posted by Paige
