Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds round steak
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup frozen small white onions
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish, if desired
Preparation:
Cut round steak into serving-size pieces. In a heavy skillet, brown steak in hot oil over medium heat. Drain off excess fat. Combine soup, water, onions; pour over meat. Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender. Sprinkle with parsley before serving if desired.Round steak serves 6 to 8.
