Round steak is baked in a sauce made with chili sauce, chili powder, vinegar, onion, brown sugar, and more ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds round steak, about 1/2 inch thick, cut in serving size pieces
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder

"My husband and oldest son liked it. I thought it was edible but nothing I would want seconds of. My daughter and two younger sons didn't like it at all. The sauce tasted more like Swiss steak and less like bbq and I already have better swiss recipes."
