Green Goddess Dressing

Tarragon vinegar adds flavor to this creamy Green Goddess Dressing Recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons finely minced onion
  • 3 tablespoons mashed anchovy fillets
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 2 teaspoon chopped capers
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Preparation:

Blend thoroughly all ingredients; cover Green Goddess Dressing tightly and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours before using.

"Wonder if previous reviewer stirred ingredients together and served it immediately. I ran ingredients through food processor until homogenous and refrigerated overnight: Beautifully melded flavors! Excellent on the chopped salad with leftover grilled shrimp I made for brown bagging. Think it'll be good to dress roasted vegetables. That's another brown bag from Sunday supper leftovers. :) Really appreciate that (aside from the tarragon vinegar and the sour cream), all the ingredients are pantry staples--in my house, anyways. Thanks for posting this recipe!"
