Beans and Knockwurst

A beans and knockwurst baked casserole recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large can (28 ounces) baked beans
  • 1/2 cup cooked shredded red cabbage, drained
  • 1/4 cup beer or apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 4 knockwurst

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except knockwurst. Turn bean mixture into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Brush knockwurst with a little mustard, if desired, and place over the beans. Bake for 25 minutes.
Beans and knockwurst recipe serves 4.
