Sausage Balls

These sausage balls are made with hot ground sausage, cheese, baking mix, and seasonings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound hot sausage
  • 2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups baking mix
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients; mix well. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees F. for about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and serve. Makes about 3 dozen.

"I had made this last year,but had lost the recipe.I'm so glad I found it!Even though you start out with the basic ingredients,the onions and poultry seasoning give it some oomph.Loved it and will certainly make it over and over again."
