Creamy Shrimp Dip

"I made this dip while entertaining a bunch of people for a football game and it was a HUGE hit. We had tripled the quantities from the recipe and still the bowl was wiped clean before half-time. Already I am getting ideas about alterations for the next time we make it. I'm thinking of maybe adding some bacon or another kind of spicy meat to give it some serious texture and flavor depth. We enjoyed this dip with several kinds of chip ranging from triscuits to various types of tortilla (flour and corn). You can't go wrong with the basic idea from the original recipe and I know that this will make a nice blueprint for future batches."
