- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups chopped onions
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup chopped green and red bell pepper
- 1 1/2 cups diced raw potatoes
- 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste, mixed with 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 12 whole cloves
- dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
