Use this cinnamon sugar on buttered toast or topping for quick breads, cobblers, muffins, coffee cakes, or just about any dessert or breakfast bread.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

I come from a country where cinnamon can be grown. I too do not think you are cheap. I do not remember seeing cinnamon sugar sold here or remember tasting cinnamon sugar. Only cinnamon sticks that are used for curry. I pound them up using a mortal dried them and ground it up using a mill to get pure cinnamon powder. I find it weird that many westerners like the taste of cinnamon on almost everything. I for one prefer it to be in curry. To me it tastes horrible on almost all food. I'm just trying this out hoping the sugar will at least even out the taste of cinnamon but retain its smell and it should be my first time tasting cinnamon sugar. Thanks for the recipe.
