Shrimp Bake

Baked shrimp with butter and Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs.

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: Serves 3 to 4


  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds shrimp, cleaned, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry


Place shrimp in an even layer in a shallow lightly buttered baking dish. Combine butter, bread crumbs, cheese, salt, lemon juice, and sherry. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over shrimps. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes, or until shrimps are cooked. Turn the broiler on for a minute or two, just long enough to brown the topping.
Serves 3 to 4.

Loved!, Member wellnesswife

Loved the recipe! I think next time I would bake them a little less time. I did put them under the broiler for about 3 minutes at the end to brown more & crisp up the topping. Was out of sherry so used brandy which worked well! There were no leftovers:)
