Ingredients:
- 1 lb. raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 6 tablespoons unsifted all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup olive or salad oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 6 medium green peppers, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- Dash pepper
Preparation:
Over medium-low heat, heat oil in large heavy skillet. Add shrimp and garlic; cook for about 5 minutes, or until shrimp are golden.
Remove shrimp from skillet; set aside.
Add pepper strips to skillet. Cook, covered over medium heat, 5 to 10 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
Add shrimp, remaining salt, wine and pepper to skillet. Cook, covered until heated
through. Serve with rice if desired.
