Beef Tips with Rice

Beef tips with rice, an easy recipe from Tonya.

Cook Time: 4 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound beef tips (stew meat works well too)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • salt and Pepper to taste
  • water or beef broth to cover
  • a few tablespoons of cornstarch or flour mixed
  • with a little cold water to make a smooth paste
  • hot cooked rice

Preparation:

Brown the beef and onions together; add salt and pepper. Cover with water or beef broth. Cover and simmer over low heat for 4 hours, or until meat is fork tender (works great in crockpot!). Thicken with cornstarch or flour mixed with water. Serve over rice with a veggie on the side.
