Sautéed Chicken Livers with Green Beans

Chicken livers are combined with green beans, butter, and seasonings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken livers
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package (about 10 ounces) frozen cut green beans, cooked

Preparation:

Cut chicken lives in half. Combine flour with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Dredge chicken liver halves in the seasoned flour mixture. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until butter begins to brown. Add chicken livers and sauté until lightly browned. Add broth and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Add cooked beans, cover, and simmer until heated through.
Serves 4.
