Ingredients:
- 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and diced
- 1 sweet green bell pepper
- 2 cups thick tomato juice
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce or similar pepper sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste, depending on saltiness of the broth
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
