This simple and delicious dessert is a great way to enjoy fresh strawberries. In a pinch, use your favorite whipped topping instead of freshly whipped cream.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: Serves 6


  • 4 cups fresh cleaned and hulled strawberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, chilled


Let the strawberries dry completely. Slice and toss in a glass or stainless steel bowl with the sugar and lemon juice. cover and let stand for 20 to 30 minutes.

In a food processor, puree the strawberry mixture until smooth.

In a large bowl, whip the cream until it holds soft peaks. Fold in the strawberry mixture until the mixture is well blended.

Ladle into dessert glasses or wine glasses; cover and chill until serving time.

Serves 6.
