Strawberry Sauce With Grand Marnier

This is delicious with Grand Marnier or Cointreau, but use all orange juice if you'd prefer to use something other than a liqueur. Use this sauce with ice cream or as a topping for a slice of cake.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier or Cointreau
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice

Preparation:

Combine ingredients, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve over sliced cake or vanilla ice cream.
