(Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation:
Cream butter and sugar until light; beat in egg and vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together; stir into creamed mixture. Refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until dough is firm enough to roll. On a floured surface, roll 1/8-inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350°.
