Cook Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup soft butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Pecan halves
Preparation:
Cream butter and sugar and add egg, beating until light. Add dry ingredients and sour cream. mix well. Shape into balls the size of a small walnut. Put on ungreased cookie sheets and press a pecan in center of each. Bake in preheated oven 400° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 7 dozen brown sugar cookies.Shared by Dottie
