Just what I was looking for, Member ktsmom430

I found this recipe last year when I was looking for a sweet and sour pork recipe without breading on the pork. I have made it many times since I found the recipe, and after making it for supper last night again, I had to review it, as it is my favorite meal now. I have tweaked it, just to suit our personal tastes, but the first time I made it I followed the recipe exactly and knew it was exactly what I was looking for as a basic recipe, and is wonderful as is. The only changes for our taste, is that I add 1-1/2 tablespoons of plum sauce, and about a tsp of red pepper flakes to the sauce that you simmer the pork in, and cut the pineapple tidbits to an 8 oz can, and I add more bell peppers (any color). I do cut the meat and peppers into cubes, not strips, but that too is personal preference. The meat is so tender and delicious. I serve it over Texmati rice. Thank you so much for this great recipe. It is the best!
