INGREDIENTS:
PREPARATION:Core apples, slice crosswise. Heat butter in a heavy skillet; fry apple slices until just tender, being careful not to break. Cut potatoes in thick slices; sprinkle lightly with salt. Arrange potato slices in a buttered shallow baking dish; top with apple slices. Combine sorghum and hot water; pour over apples and potatoes. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serves 4.
