Ingredients:
- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- marshmallows
- crushed corn flakes
- whole cloves for "stems"
Preparation:
Peel, cook, and mash sweet potatoes. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt; mix well. Cool. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion around a marshmallow to form an "apple." Roll in crushed corn flakes. Place balls in a greased baking dish. With finger, make an indentation in top of each ball. For apple "stems," insert a whole clove in center of each indentation.Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
