Too Thick for Me, Member BudgetGourmet

I made this just as the recipe stated and it was way too thick for my liking. I like to eat this dish over white rice so having it so thick can be a little much. I try to make it with 1T butter and 1T flour for every 1c of milk. Comes out nice that way. Adding a 1/4t each of garlic powder and onion powder will add a little more flavor as well. Not a bad recipe, but not exactly the way I like it, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.
