Tuna Salad in Buns

Tuna Salad in Buns

Serve this easy tuna salad in buns or rolls with lettuce and tomatoes, or serve it as a luncheon salad with avocado slices and other sliced vegetables and greens.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (5 to 7 ounces each) tuna, flaked and drained
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 1 rib celery, finely chopped
  • 5 to 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons sweet pickle relish or dill pickle relish, or to taste, optional
  • Creole seasoning, seasoned salt, or salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation:

In a medium bowl, toss tuna with red onion and celery. Stir in mayonnaise and relish until desired consistency and taste is reached. Season with seasoning blend or salt and pepper, to taste.

Serve on toasted buns or bread with lettuce and sliced tomato.
Serves 6 to 8.
