Barbecued Turkey Legs

Baked barbecued turkey legs.

Cook Time: 2 hours

Ingredients:

  • 4 to 6 turkey legs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of liquid smoke, if desired
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion

Preparation:

Sprinkle turkey legs with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over turkey. Bake in a shallow baking pan at 325° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until turkey legs are done. Turkey legs recipe serves 4 to 6.

"Good and easy! Sometimes I smoke in smoker for 30 minutes then put in oven. Enough for real smoked taste. For easy serving cut of ""knob"" of leg and using needle nose pliers remove tendons."
