Butter, lemon, and garlic make this kohlrabi tangy and delicious. Kohlrabi has a flavor similar to cabbage, and it goes well with pork, beef, sausages, or ham.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 to 4 medium kohlrabi
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth, or to cover
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation:

Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Slice kohlrabi into thin strips. Saute kohlrabi in the butter with garlic for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add chicken broth and lemon juice. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until kohlrabi is tender. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
Serves 4.
