1/2 head iceberg lettuce
3 medium tomatoes
1 cup croutons
8 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
1/2 cup mayonnaise, or creamy dressing of your choice
salt and pepper
Line salad bowl with the Romaine lettuce; break iceberg lettuce into the bowl. Cut each tomato into 6 wedges; add to the bowl. Add croutons, bacon, and mayonnaise or dressing. Toss lightly and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serves 4.
