Janet's Salad Recipe

An easy salad from Janet, with salad greens, lemon, garlic, olive oil, and seasonings.

Ingredients:

  • l bag Italian blend salad (Dole) (Romaine lettuce is the best)
  • l lg. lemon
  • 3 lg. cloves garlic minced
  • l/2 cup olive oil
  • salt to taste

Preparation:

    l bag Italian blend salad (Dole) (Romaine lettuce is the best) l lg. lemon 3 lg. cloves garlic minced l/2 cup olive oil salt to taste
Empty the bag of lettuce in a large bowl. In a small mixing bowl add oil, garlic, salt and lemon. Mix well and pour over salad and toss lightly. This salad will be a great accompaniment to any entree. Sometimes I just mix fresh baked salmon with olives and capers with the greens and toss with the dressing and have bread and wine for dinner. It's great!
