This is absoloutely fantastic especially with Chicken thighs. I first did this about 6 months ago and now whenever people are coming they ask me to cook this. Kids, adults, everybody thinks this is just delish. Great with skinny chips and a salad

This was very easy to make, and very delicious. The chicken came out tender and juicy and very flavorful, and I loved the barbecue sauce. Note: I made a reduced sugar version: Instead of brown sugar I used 1 tablespoon of Rapidura and replaced the other the two tablespoons of sugar with Stevia (2/8 teaspoon of KAL brand white stevia powder).

Man, oh man did this recipe hit the spot. I believe the pan frying was key to this recipe as the skin remained crisp. Also, the barbecue sauce will stay in my collection for outdoor cooking as well.

Had my mom over for lunch today and made this recipe. All through lunch she kept asking which restaurant I got the chicken from lol; I had to keep insisting that I made it! Needless to say, the chicken was amazing. I added a small bit of molasses because I like the taste and baked the chicken, covered, for the majority of the hour. The result is that the chicken is extremely tender and slides right off the bone. Because the chicken has already been semi-fried it doesn't spring a lot of water and the bbq sauce stays nice and thick. Will defintely make again. Thank you!
