Lucky for New Year's, good anytimeJanuary 04, 2009 By joanalang
Served at a New Year's brunch, for the good luck that eating black-eyed peas is said to bring, this unusual recipe was a huge hit. I used diced ham instead of bacon, and molasses to taste instead of honey, and diced crystallized ginger. Even people who said they normally don't like black-eyed peas went back for seconds and wanted the recipe.
