The first time i made this cake was the first time i attempted a ""real"" cheesecake. Everyone LOVED it! My boyfriend and his dad say its the best cheesecake they've ever had... and that's saying something all the women in that family can cook... I did accidently add 1/4 cup of sugar to the filling... i just misread the recipe but it turned out wonderful!

The previous reviewer must not have realized that the break in ingrediants followed by ""Filling"" was distinguishing the ingrediants used in the crust from the ingrediants used in the FILLING. Not difficult to figure out. I hope she can make her cheesecake now.

This is my favorite recipe website. The sweet potato pie recipe was great so likely I was looking forward to obtaining a recipe for cheesecake however, the cheesecake recipe looks incomplete. There is one bullet that doesn't have an ingredient next to it and the bullet under that just says ""filling"". Looks like the recipe needs to be updated.
