This was a great recipe. The dressing was very good. I used agave instead of honey and I used more than stated. Be sure to add fresh lemon juice, it gives it just the right tang. I did add chopped apple and dried cranberries and more green onions. Thanks for the great recipe!! PS Love the South!

I love Chicken Salad but have never had one even like this in a restaurant. This is the best.. I make it up and put it on toast (regular bread). My son, who is 16, absolutely loves it. He'll come home from school and ask me to make it for him. I do use light sour cream and light mayo. It's still awesome.

I only slightly modified the recipe, but it is awesome! The grapes and walnuts really make it the best. Thank you so much for the information! I found this last summer, and ever since it's been a staple in my rare cooking, if I can have success with this meal, so can anyone! I'm making it right now to take to my boyfriend and mom at work, it's quick, easy, and the ingredients are inexpensive. Thanks again! God bless

This delicatessen-style chicken salad is easy to prepare and makes a great presentation. The only change we made was to use already-cooked rotisserie chicken. This minimized prep time (15 minutes max) and the chicken was already seasoned and moist. The flavors melded beautifully after refrigeration - about 3 hours. We served it in pita halves lined with bibb lettuce and had corn-on-the-cob as a side dish. It made for a great summer meal.

I loved it, i just switched out grapes and put raisins in instead and served it with some homemade balsamic vinigrette on multigrain bread with lettuce, shredded carrots and cucumbers. Yummy! My new favorite sandwich.

I FINALLY MADE A CHICKEN SALAD THAT I'M PROUD OF, one that would pass muster at an upscale deli. This truly is the best chicken salad I've ever tasted. Two suggestions: chill thoroughly before serving -- mine sat in the fridge overnight and the flavors really blended nicely; and mix all of the wet ingredients (mayo, sour cream, lemon juice and honey) together separately, then toss into chicken mixture. You'll love eating and serving this!

My mom and I made this recipe for my daughter's First Holy Communion party and it was an absolute hit! Our guests were not just complimentary, they were raving about this recipe! It actually reminds me of the Chicken Salad we buy from the deli at Whole Foods. We used canned chicken from Costco (like in the tuna cans) and it worked great! It made this meal quick and easy to prepare! We were able to prepare everything the day before and just waited until we served it to add the walnuts. We served our chicken salad on fresh croissants from our grocers bakery and they rocked! we will definitely use this recipe again!
