I have made this recipe many times and it always turns out great! You must use powdered sugar - and it helps if you sift the sugar and cocoa together. I put it in the freezer to harden after cooking. Also good if you add 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter in place of 1/2 the butter..

I love how fast any easy it is. I have these ingredients opposed to many other fudge recipes that either take forever or I don't have the stuff to make it. As for the people who don't like it I'm positive they used granulated not POWDERED sugar like this recipe calls for.
5 out of 5SO EASY CHOCOLATE FUDGEDecember 24, 2010

Really liked the ease of making this fudge and it tasted so good and creamy. Nice, good chocolate taste. My family enjoyed it too and it disappeared quickly. I put foil over my pan and buttered it to make removal easy. I also scored the fudge as it was setting up and it was easy to cut through into pieces.

Really easy to make, and easy to clean up, it's great for those times when you are craving chocolate in the sense that you can make it within minutes! I used room tempurture butter on my 3rd attempt and only cooked it for 1 minute (it cooled a lot faster) The only downside to this fudge is that it needs to be cooled, it melts at room temp. (although, I've only ever made it in summer - so could be too humid :-)) Thank you for the recipe
2 out of 5Cocoa-flavored SugarMay 09, 2010

I was bound and determined that this would be a great easy fudge recipe. Well, it is easy; but, great it ain't. The consistency of the fudge is very (VERY) sugary. It's like eating chocolate sugar. The reason that I checked the rating, ""Yes"" that I ""Would recommend this to others,"" is that those are good ingredients. The fudge did harden (kind of). But, what I would recommend (and I'm going to try it this way the next time) is that the fudge should be cooked on the stove until the sugar dissolves. I may even put the batch I have now into a pot, add a little more milk, and cook it until the sugar dissolves. When you cook it the way that the recipe calls for, that sugar stays in its granulated form (it never dissolves). And though it has a good flavor, I don't like to eat raw, cocoa-flavored sugar.

These were simple, quick and tasty!! all it takes is a little stir when you melt the butter and chocolate together, mix the remainder and really, it's that simple, takes too long to cool though.........yumm
