I don't know what happened with this recipe but I followed it to a ""t"" and it was WAY too salty and I did not add any salt. So much so that I had to throw it out. I normally like recipes by Diana, but this one is a great disappointment. This won't deter me from trying Diana's recipes though - she's got some good ones.

I loved this recipe! It even pleased the picky eaters! I added 1/4 cup more red wine, chopped onion and 1/2 cup sour cream. It was more like a beef stroganoff or burgundy. It was a hit! Served with garlic bread, egg noodles and spinach salad! It freezes nicely too for those ""lazy"" days! (fyi) :)
