This is an EXCELLENT recipe! It is hearty and packed full of different flavors. This should be labeled as a real comfort food staple for crock pots. I made this for the first time last fall and it is the only thing my fiance asks me to make during the cooler months of fall and winter, he is really hard to please and I am so glad I found this recipe- finally something he loves to have me fix for him!
