We made this dish for Christmas Dinner for our extended family in 2010. We had no idea what an impression it had made. Apparently everyone was looking forward to this dish again in 2011. If I would have known that, I would have made more of this dish with fewer other protein choices. For now on this dish will be included as a Christmas Family Tradition. The good thing is we don't have to wait until Christmas to make it again. It's also easy to prepare which is an added bonus!

This recipe was so easy to make - i am not a good cook and even I didn't mess this one up. my whole family loved it (no small miracle). the seasoning was great but not too strong. only issue was my 6 qt crock pot cooked faster than 7 hours -- done in 5 1/2. thanks so much for a great recipe with 'normal' ingredients

This is a recipe that I highly recommend to anyone looking to try something different than their 'norm' in the Crock Pot! I have yet to have anyone, either in my home or someone who tried this on my recommendation, say anything other than good things about this! Definitely a favorite around here!

i use lemonaide (-wine) and flour the chicken 1st!
