Just made it -- Its cooking now. I added some more spice and carrots but I loved how easy it was to make. All the ingredients I had on hand so that just rocked!! I love simple stuff... And this is soo easy anybody could make it... right up my alley

Paula presents a great base recipe here. For families that enjoy some comfort food, this was very admired by all the Europeans in our mixed family. I changed it to be a little spicier, here's how: 1. I chopped a large onion (red - but white is fine) instead of the minced onion 2. I added a tsp of of Italian spices as basil, oregeno. 3. I added a tsp of ground pepper. 4. I only used a pinch of Kosher salt. 5. I used all of a can of Cento's chef cut tomatoes (28 oz). 6. You always make sure the liquid barely tops the ingredients. All of the family wants more. I'm making it right now.
