I have been looking for this recipe for numerous years. I first received it in about 1952 when I took cooking in high school. Hopefully this is the same one that I had. Mine got lost in moving. I haven't made them yet, but am going to the store to buy the ingredients, will let you know if they are the same. Thank you so much.

I had great expectations, but should have known that this recipe would be too sweet. I made it as directed, but next time I will use 1/2 cup sugar instead of the full 1 cup. Unfortunately, it's just too sweet to enjoy. I used flaked cocunut to roll the balls in, NOT MORE SUGAR!!
