theses are pretty good, but I think that the oil temperature was too high, I found that even on little pieces that they wouldn't get cooked all the way through, I would suggest that you put the oil at 300 or 325 and cook them for longer I also added cinnamon, thats makes them really good :)

I just made these apple fritters and the batter ended up like a paste. I used to make these when I was a young girl and I don't remember the batter being like a paste. So I put 1/2 a cup more of milk and it became the consistency of pancake batter, which is what I remembered it to be. They were delicious!

I've been making this for years....without using the internet... I don't use anything else but pancake mix for my batter, and it's amazing!!!!!!!!! Simple, and it tastes great!!!! It's a lot cheaper than going out, buying the flour, the baking soda/powder....and everything else....just buy the ""just add water"" pancake mix...and you're good to go!

For a fast easy treat this is great. Good way to use up apples too. But I didn't use the powder sugar I made a mixture of cinnamon and sugar placed it in a zip lock baggie. After draining on a paper towel place the fritters in bag and shake, while they are still warm. I used Grannie Smith apples.

I made these for my family and they loved them. I did add just a dash of cinnamon and sugar to the apples before adding them to the mix. I don't eat sweets and I could not resist trying them and they are great. I will definately make them again.

I had to make an ""apple goodie"" for my daughters' school (Johnny Appleseed Day) and decided to make these Apple Fritters. They were delicious. I had a number of parents and teachers comment on them and ask for the recipe. Add all the apples it calls for even though it seems like too many. Next time I would toss the apples with cinnamon (and maybe sugar) before adding them to the batter. They're better served warm but are delicious any way you have it!
