This recipe does not remotely resemble Moussaka. It is lacking in spices and is essentially tasteless. If you do make this, I recommend cooking covered, like lasagna, for 30 minutes before uncovering and browning. Find another recipe that has more traditional Greek ingredients.

Delicious, not like the tepid meat mush that is called moussaka in a diner. Simple recipe with a big wow factor. Make sure to buy enough eggplant, it reduces a lot.
