    The recipe as it is shown is way too salty, but I think the person who provided it made a simple mistake. The recipe should have read 4 Cups flour, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 t baking soda. This should help. Many recipes say you can increase the amount of salt added up to a total of 2 teaspoons for this recipe, but I prefer to add the salt afterwards if needed. Good luck with your cooking, one and all!     I used this in a recipe and it ruined it. There was way too much salt.
