What a quick and wonderful substitute for the cream soup cans! Turned out just wonderful! Thank you for posting :) Question: can I make this ahead of time and freeze it?

I was making a casserole and didn't have the required cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soups. I used this recipe and added 1/2 a pouch of Lipton Onion & Mushroom soup mix. This was super easy and a great alternative to canned soups. Honestly, I liked it better than the canned ones anyway because you can control the thickness and flavor of this recipe.

Used this as substitution for cream of chick soup in a Sheppard's pie recipe when I realize I'd already used the last can. Turned out just fine! Thanks for saving the day!
