Everyone loved it, and thought I'd slaved for hours. A great winner of a recipe that will please all (especially the cook)!

The first time I made this recipe, it was good, but somethings were missing. Now I make it differently each time changing things up and adding things. Perhaps someday I will hit upon the perfect combo of spices and ingredients and become a wealthy lasagna baron!

This lasagna is super easy to make for first timers but is almost TASTELESS unless you add a lot more spices. I added Chili Pepper, Ceyanne Pepper, Italian Seasonings, diced onions and peppers, and extra crushed pepper.

i think that the base of the lasagna sauce sepousingly is bechamel but the recipe is using riccota. it makes the whole dish tasteless.

My first time making lasagna, and it was a huge hit!!!

I actually made 2 cassaroles at one time. One was for my family and one was for a family friend who had recently lost his wife. Even at the funeral his family was saying how great it was. My family as well enjoyed it. There wasnt a spoonful to waste. This is a very time consuming recipe.. It took me about 1 hour and 10 mins for prep cooking and assembly and then another 40 minutes of baking. I also made sauted mushrooms to serve on the side(garlic and olive oil). It was a great add on.
