These cookies are tasty good. They are soft and I love the texture of the cookie. I didn't use a electric mixer because, I have my own baking style. They still came out just right.

I have tried many molasses cookie recipes & this one wins hands down. The cookies turn out soft & perfectly chewy, not flat & fragile. This recipe is great & easy to follow. I baked my cookies for 10 minutes but every oven varies. I can't wait to make these again.

I've made these cookies several times and always get good reviews. I add a smidgen more on the spices and cook them a minute or so less because I like a little more flavor and soft cookies. I really enjoy these cookies. Very Yummy!

In hopes of replicating the Molasses Cookies from Starbucks I stumbled across this recipe and these are WAY better! Super tasty and highly addicitve (that's the only bad part). By the way, I used margarine instead of shortening.

These cookies turned out GREAT! I had to chill mine overnight, but they still turned out fine. I left out the nutmeg (my family doens't like the taste of it) and didn't change anything else. I made my dough balls a little larger than what it says to, and it yielded exactly 2 dozen cookies. This is a really good recipe and I will be using it again!

These soft molasses cookies are the best I've ever tasted. I gave many away (which was difficult because I wanted to eat all of them) and received excellent reviews. I did change the recipe slightly by adding 1 tsp allspice and increasing the nutmeg to 1 tsp. I will definitely make them again and others will too, since I received many requests for the recipe.
