Great recipeDecember 25, 2011 By jackonlne
I've made a lot of scones and thought I'd try a new recipe this Christmas morning. These are very easy to put together and I was eating them 45 minutes after I took the cranberries out of the refrigerator. I used a bit of lemon juice (1/2 t or so) and a few extra cranberries. I didn't brush them with milk first, but gave them a LIGHT brushing with melted butter after they came out of the oven. Tested them at the recommended time but put them back in for five more minutes. A nice Christmas treat that will be good year round. (p.s. great way to use up those cranberries that were left over from Thanksgiving!)

Really good sconesDecember 31, 2009 By Savvybelle
I just found this recipe about an hour ago and my scones are done. Very easy to make and really tasty. I am not big on nuts and excluded them from the recipe, but the scones are still delicious.
