It was great and I will make it again and often. I only used 1/4 diced onion and 1 cup of the sliced okra. I was heavy on the seasoning because I love curry and tumeric is so good for you. This was the second time I cooked okra and the first time I was able to eat it...and really enjoy it! Slime is not my favorite texture and this was not slimy at all. Thanks for the healthy, yummy recipe.

I tried this dish using frozen okra. I also used red onions and a generous amount of curry powder, chili, salt and pepper. I'm very satisfied with the results, but I like and have been craving okra all this week. I hope my husband will like it as well (he's never tried okra and is on the way home). I guess we'll see!

I was looking for a recipe with okra because I did not wanna make Turkish style okra anymore. I decided to give this recipe a try. Luckily I had turmeric powder and cumin at home. And after reading about the benefits of consuming turmeric 2-3 times a week, I used this recipe. I loved the taste. Highly recommended. very easy to make.

I was looking for a recipe to absorb ""too many"" okra from the garden. We've already had fried, stewed, gumbo, etc. The result of this recipe far exceeded our expectations. Both kids (12+) and adults ate it. I cooked the okra a little longer than specified to make sure there were no hard parts. Also, doubled the curry powder to bring up the taste.
