Oven baked panko breaded chicken thighsJune 16, 2013 By edcowan
Followed recipe explicitly and ended with very dry chicken.i didn't monitor the chicken temperature but I will next time. I expect that lower temps or less cooking time will give better results.

Mustard a little overwhelming, but otherwise good!May 20, 2013 By gutterstars
I liked this and was surprised by how much the underside of the chicken, actually tasted like fried chicken. My only problem was that the mustard was a bit overwhelming. I would probably half that amount if I make this again. I would also add something for a kick because it was a little bland. Otherwise, pretty good and very easy!

Very Very Good!!March 06, 2012 By IceyPawz
Big hit at my house, and super easy to prepare1 I used boneless skinless thighs... I flattened them out to brush and coat, and then rolled them back into a regular ""thigh"" cooked them for 30 mins on 400 with a gas stove.. yummy!!

Baked Chicken That Tasted Like Fried Chicken!!January 04, 2012 By ashutterqueen
A really easy, simple recipe that is absolutely delicious!! You can make this recipe, pop it in the oven, and chicken comes out crispy and very moist!!! The spicy mustard kicks it up a notch, too. I will make this one again!!

Absolutely delicious. Made it for the first time, and used honey in place of syrup. After reading other reviews, we used 1/2 tsp. Hungarian paprika. Skin was crispy, and chicken was quite moist. Am definetly looking forward to making again SOON... Thanks so much for sharing recipe with us.

This dish was amazing. I made it for a dinner party and everyone raved over it. I used shredded mozzarella cheese in place of parmesan cheese and used honey in place of the maple syrup, the aroma was out of this world. Everyone asked for the recipe.

Very Delicious!November 17, 2009 By NinaaJ
I made this for my family tonight and everybody enjoyed it. It was perfect! I used regular bread crumbs but I will try it with what the recipe calls for next time. We loved it! It was also very easy to make, just another plus for the recipe.

AMAZING!!November 01, 2009 By LGMB
This is the 3rd time i am making this. 1st just for my family. They loved it even better as leftovers. 2nd time i made it for my daycare teachers (at work) and now im making it for friends that are coming over to watch the game. My only complaint is that there NEVER seems to be enough breading. I have doubled the breading recipe but kept the 8 pieces of chicken, and i always seem to be scraping the bowl with my spatula and fingers, to coat that very last piece. Maybe i am a ""heavy breader"" but my friends and family just love this recipe the way i make, so ill keep doubling the breading and see what happens. But enjoy! We do!

First time making Oven Fried ChickenAugust 03, 2009 By bosslady12
And this recipe is great!!! I didn't have any panko bread crumbs but used seasoned crutons and crushed those. Also didn't have any paprika nor parsley but however it still turned out great. This recipe will be going to my favorites!!

A Perfect RecipeMarch 15, 2009 By Dinnergirl
I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs and the result was absolute perfection. Because these were ""flat"" pieces of chicken I only needed to bake them for 30 minutes at 400. I too used 1/2 tsp. of paprika since that was left out of the recipe. This was my first time using Panko and I am definitely hooked on it.

chicken with PankoDecember 07, 2008 By carolquibell
I love to cook and my husband of 49 years is very critical. He loved this recipe. I only cooked mine 30-35 minutes and tested it with a digital gauge and it was perfect. Make sure you use the regular panko not the Italian one. I am going to try it with boneless thighs and boneless chicken breasts so I can make it for company and they don't have to pick it up with their hands. I am testing it this week as I have a dinner party for 18 in two weeks and I want to know how long to cook it.

Followed recipe to the letter. Great flavor. Only missing item is the exact amount of paprika (used 1/2 tsp)

Delicious!May 03, 2008 By freqtrav
I made this a few weeks ago and it was simply delicious. I'm doing it again tonight. I did find the panko fell off a bit, but that was my fault for coating to heavily. Highly recommended!
