Mom used to make these and used an iron frying pan and they never stuck. I haven't tried yet but will let you know. I loved them.

these are pretty quick and easy to make - only problem was they wanted to stay in the glass pie plates i used. next time i'll make them like another recipe i have where you put a tablespoon or so of butter in the pie pan first and let it melt in the oven, swirl it around to cover and then put the batter in them. i'm not sure if it's heating the pans first or the extra butter, but that seems to work.
