Peach Cobbler Recipe

This dish is just too salty! I would recommend cutting the amount asked (1 tsp) at least in half. The dough is a little frustrating to roll out but other than that it should turn out pretty good. Ice cream on the side is recommended.

Loved the taste of this recipe, but I did add cinnamon and nutmeg (small amount) to the peaches. Also, would recommend mixing a tablespoon or 2 of flour or cornstarch into the peaches to thicken as it turned out too watery.

Very easy to make but used slight alterations: Fruit -- used 3 tbs coconut oil (my preference) instead of butter; blended oil with sugar, added 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg then mixed in peaches; sprinkled pink salt over peaches before adding crust. Crust -- reduced salt to 1/4 tsp and added 1 tsp Mexican Vanilla extract. Served with vanilla ice cream. Delicious!

Fantastic! I took my time, because we had a family reunion with relatives from Wales,Scotland and London, and other Caribbean islands. My mom is a first class cook, so I had to impress her most of all. It was the best Peach Cobbler she has ever had, thanks to you guys!!!!! Maureen.

I like the cobbler, however the topping was a little salty. I will try decreaing the salt and the baking power. I will also try pet milk instead of just heavy cream.
